    Application Methods

    • Applied in sealants, adhesives and coatings to promote dry and wet adhesion to hard-to-bond substrates such as glass, metal and concrete. The silyl moiety of this product undergoes polycondensation with inorganic surfaces to form strong chemical bonds, while the amino moiety combines with the base resin of adhesives or sealants via covalent bonds.
    • The secondary amino group of this product endows it with high alkalinity. Its reactivity is slightly lower than that of primary amino groups, making it suitable for use as a capping agent for polyurethanes.
    • This product is particularly applicable to primer-free one-component polyurethane systems cured at room temperature. Room temperature curing involves two steps: the reaction between isocyanate and water, and the silane crosslinking reaction.
    • In the presence of water, the methoxysilyl groups of this product undergo hydrolysis to form reactive silanol groups, which can bond to inorganic materials; the organophilic amino groups can interact with compatible polymers. With six hydrolyzable substituents present in one molecule, USi-B1301 is especially suitable for forming highly crosslinked network structures on substrates, between substrates and within organic matrices.

    Safety and Storage

Customers should refer to the latest MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) and product safety information labels.
Personal safety operation instructions shall provide protective equipment when necessary, as well as any special storage conditions required for safety.
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources and open flames.
The product must be stored in a sealed container; otherwise, it will hydrolyze upon contact with moisture and form polymers.
