Recommended use
USi-4102 is used in the synthesis of saturated polyester resins for power coatings and coil coatings, and used in the production of aromatic polyester polyos for flexible and rigid PU foam applications, and in ring opening polymerization for polymer production.
Applications
- USi-4102 catalyst is a hydrolytically stable, neutral and non-corrosive, pale yellow liquid. It does not require removal and becomes incorporated into the final product without affecting the quality of the product.
- USi-4102 catalyst is used primarily to catalyze esterification and polycondensation reactions at temperatures between 210 to 240 ℃, and can be used at temperature up to 250 ℃.
- USi-4102 catalyst is easily handled and readily dispersed in reaction mixtures. It can significantly shorten esterification cycle times compared to uncatalyzed systems, and minimizes side reactions.
