✅ A non-organoreactive alkyl silane with three oxime groups—ideal as a neutral-cure crosslinker that delivers stable processing, excellent adhesion, and no yellowing.
📄 Product Description
USi-6MO is a methyl-functional oxime silane widely used as a crosslinking agent in neutral-cure room-temperature vulcanizing (RTV) silicone systems. Unlike vinyl- or epoxy-silanes, MOS contains no organoreactive group, making it chemically stable while still enabling efficient condensation cure via its three methylethylketoxime (MEKO) ligands.
Key advantages:
- Neutral curing → non-corrosive to metals and safe for sensitive substrates
- Excellent storage stability and low odor vs. acetoxy systems
- Strong adhesion promoter for glass, ceramics, plastics, and metals when used in silicone formulations
Often blended with vinyl-functional oxime silanes (e.g., VOS) to fine-tune skin time, elasticity, and mechanical strength.
