    Silane USi-6181 is a high-purity octadecyltrimethoxysilane (OTS)—the industry benchmark C₁₈ long-chain alkyl silane featuring an 18-carbon hydrophobic tail and three reactive methoxy groups. It forms exceptionally dense, crystalline-like, covalently bonded self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) on silicon oxide and other metal oxides, delivering maximum water repellency, ultra-low surface energy, and outstanding stability.     USi-6181 is the longest-chain commercial alkyltrimethoxysilane (C₁₈), offering unparalleled surface engineering performance:

    • The C₁₈ chain enables near-perfect molecular packing on surfaces → achieves water contact angles >110°, among the highest possible with organosilanes
    • Forms highly ordered, quasi-crystalline monolayers that act as robust moisture and ion diffusion barriers
    • The three methoxy groups ensure strong, durable Si–O–Si/M covalent bonds with substrates like glass, quartz, ITO, and SiO₂
    • Significantly reduces surface energy (<15 mN/m), enabling anti-wetting, anti-fouling, and anti-adhesion properties
