Active Content: 80%USi-6802E is a ready-to-apply, water-based thixotropic gel formulated with high-purity octyltriethoxysilane. Engineered for professional use on vertical, overhead, and horizontal concrete surfaces, it delivers deep-penetrating, long-lasting water repellency without dripping, running, or altering the substrate’s appearance. Ideal for bridges, parking structures, tunnels, facades, and repair zones where conventional liquid sealers fail.
🧪 Product Description
Unlike solvent-based liquids or emulsions that sag on walls, USi-6802E’s unique gel structure:
- Stays in place on vertical and ceiling surfaces—no runoff, no waste
- Penetrates deeply into cementitious substrates via capillary action
- The active octyltriethoxysilane hydrolyzes and chemically bonds to the concrete matrix, forming a hydrophobic barrier within the pores—not on the surface
- Treated surfaces remain breathable, non-glossy, and visually unchanged—preserving architectural integrity and slip resistance

🏗️ Application Guidelines
✅ Surface Preparation
- Substrate must be clean, dry, and free of oil, dust, curing compounds, or release agents
- Fresh concrete or repaired areas must cure and dry for at least 28 days before treatment
🖌️ Application Method
- Apply by brush, roller, or low-pressure spray
- No runoff on vertical/overhead surfaces due to thixotropic nature
- Recommended rate: 300 g/m² (one coat) for standard concrete impregnation
- Adjust rate based on concrete density and desired penetration depth—conduct a trial area first
⏳ Curing & Drying
- Allow treated surface to cure undisturbed for minimum 6 hours
- Full hydrophobic effect develops as silane reacts with moisture in the substrate over 24–72 hours
