- Together, they offer a broader performance profile than single-chain silanes—balancing reactivity, penetration, and durability
- Reacts with hydroxylated surfaces (concrete, glass, minerals) to form permanent, covalent Si–O–Si bonds, resisting wash-off and UV degradation
- Treated surfaces remain breathable, non-film-forming, and aesthetically unchanged
