📄 Product Description
USi-411 is a partially substituted vinyl alkoxysilane with the structure CH₂=CH–Si(CH₃)(OCH₃)₂. Unlike trialkoxy vinyl silanes (e.g., VTMS), it contains only two hydrolyzable methoxy groups and one non-reactive methyl group, resulting in:
- Controlled hydrolysis rate → improved formulation stability
- Reduced crosslink density → enhanced flexibility in cured networks
- Better compatibility with organic polymers due to lower polarity
This makes USi-411 especially valuable in applications requiring moderate crosslinking, chain-end functionalization, or structural tuning of silicone backbones.
