Its reactive chlorine atom enables covalent bonding with rubber matrices during vulcanization, while its trimethoxysilane group bonds to silica, clay, calcium carbonate, and other mineral fillers. The result: dramatically enhanced mechanical properties, filler dispersion, and light-color stability in demanding elastomer and composite applications.

Chemical Structure:
Cl–(CH₂)₃–Si(OCH₃)₃USi-7301 is uniquely designed for systems requiring chemical compatibility with chlorine-containing polymers:
- The γ-chloropropyl group participates directly in sulfur or peroxide curing systems, forming strong C–Cl or C–S bonds with the rubber backbone
- The trimethoxysilane moiety hydrolyzes rapidly to form Si–OH, which condenses with surface –OH groups on fillers to create durable Si–O–filler linkages
- Enables use of high loadings of inorganic fillers without sacrificing tensile strength, elongation, or processability
- Produces light-colored or white compounds—critical for aesthetic or regulatory-compliant rubber goods
